A NOTE FROM ARDORE
We want our brand to be a safe space for you to shop, without feeling the need to always size up (we know how it feels!) so we have worked really hard to focus on areas such as the bust and hips which can often run tight. We are a new start up brand and will always be aiming for better than yesterday, so we welcome any feedback to help improve future collections.

OVERVIEW
We leave size and fit notes on the product specific pages which we highly recommend you review and check prior to ordering, but we also hope this page serves as a useful source of information for you to help find your perfect fitting piece. Detailed sizing can be found further down to help achieve your desired fit and to minimise the need to order multiple sizes (we understand the struggle!).
Please note our pieces are made to be tailored with very little stretch, so we recommend taking some time to measure for better sizing accuracy when ordering your pieces to avoid disappointment.

SIZE MEASUREMENTS
In-between sizes?
As a general rule, if you are between two sizes, it is down to your preference - opt for the smaller size for a tighter fit or the larger size if you prefer a looser fit.
For structured dresses and tops, the bust is an important factor and you will typically find the fit to be better by opting for your bust measurement (if between sizes).

BLAZER DRESS:
Our designs are meant to be oversized, therefore you will find some room for movement even if you stick to your true size. As a result, you are unlikely to need to size up due to bust size alone. However, if you prefer a more dramatic oversized fit, then sizing up once works wonderfully too - our belts are there to cinch the blazer back in! Equally, you may find yourself sizing down if you prefer a more tailored, contoured look; however be mindful of your waist measurement.
DRESSES & TOPS:
Whilst we aim to be as true to size as possible, we understand everyone is different. We appreciate the struggle with dress & top sizing - our zips, structured & tailored finish means there is little give in the garments. If you are between sizes, we suggest you order from the bust measurement (as this is the area which can cause a difficult zip situation if too small!).
TROUSERS:
If you are between sizes, we recommend you order from your hip measurement. Please note our trousers are a generous, roomy fit therefore you do not need to size up.

We aim to offer a wider range of fits in the future, however fear not at this stage:
5''1 or under- We have happy customers from 5''1 with no adjustments needed. if you are shorter than this, a few inches shorter and the trousers should be your dream fit, so there is the option of having them taken up or simply using hemming tape.
Tall - we have happy customers up to 5''9 who are able to wear the trousers with both flats and heels.
